LUCROP® SW & LUCROP® SPREAD 24

LUCROP® SW and LUCROP® SPREAD 24 are polyether modified silicone surfactants with exceptional spreading and penetrating properties. They can fine-tune the physico-chemical properties of spray mixtures. These adjustments lead to improved wetting, enhanced spray retention on foliar surfaces, and increased penetration of crop protection products.

Reduced contact angle of water with the addition of 0.05% wetting agents (hydrophobic surface – Teflon):

Surface tension measurements with aqueous solutions of 0.05% wetting agents:

LUCROP® SW and LUCROP® SPREAD 24 reduce the surface tension to around 20 mN/m. This super wetting properties optimizes the spreading on the leaf and thus the bio efficacy of active ingredient treatments.
